Description
The tremendous development witnessed by Gharyan University in most of the scientific aspects and infrastructure through which it was able to prove the sincerity of the orientation towards the national project aimed at localizing university studies on the homeland and in order to reach the best technologies and strategies followed, to ensure the highest level of quality and to know the university of the importance and need of information technology as a driver and driver of all technical developments at the local, global and global levels.The work is as required, especially in major service or educational institutions that are interested in the development of their systems, and the development in the current institutions is only with the development of technology in them, which are the competence of people specialized in the field of information technology in its various fields, established by the decision of the Minister of Education, and the college began accepting students and teaching effectively at the beginning of the fall semester 2017. The college's study system follows the open semester system and each academic year includes two semesters, autumn and spring. The duration of the study is eight semesters, each semester includes (16) weeks, and the study plan program is distributed over this period, where the minimum study in the college is eight semesters and the maximum study is ten semesters. It consists of four semesters for the general department by 75 study units, after which the student can specialize in one of the scientific departments of the college.
The college awards a specialized degree (university) in information technology. To obtain the degree, the student must successfully complete 140 units of study (at least) in one of the disciplines in the college. The college has become one of the important scientific facilities at Gharyan University despite its recent establishment compared to other colleges, and strives to develop its capabilities to qualify it to reach the desired results and agreed goals..
